P1-3 JHPS Home Learning Grids for this week were uploaded to Microsoft Teams yesterday morning. Please make sure you log in to your child’s account via GLOW to see what their tasks are for the week. There are also challenges on Sumdog and Study Ladder for the children to complete. It would be great to have the children upload some of their work onto their class ‘teams’ page for others to see. Thank you for your continued support,
Please feel free to take part in some of these activities during the first week of your Easter holidays. You can take some photos of your adventures and upload them to your class Teams page if you wish.
We hope you are all ok and getting used to being at home. We are missing you all! Just in case some of you can’t get onto Teams to see what work there is for you, here is a quick run down……..
continue to work through the activities that were sent home in your packs
complete some of the reading, spelling and maths challenges/competitions that have been set on Sumdog
log in to Read Theory and try to gain some more knowledge points
log in to Study Ladder and complete some of the tasks that have been set for you
play a board game with your family (without cheating!)
Go on youtube and search ‘Art for Kids hub’ and practice your drawing skills. There were some great efforts before school stopped!

Due to the current situation regarding COVID-19 the planned Primary 3A trip to the Kay Park on Wednesday 18th March has to be cancelled. Children can still come dressed in their casual clothes and we will have a treat in school instead.
Primary 3a will be going to the Kay Park on the afternoon of Wednesday 18th March. They were the class winners of the ‘Thumbs Up’ treat and the children have chosen this as their reward. Children should come casually dressed to school on Wednesday and be dressed appropriately for the weather on the day.
