P7 Tuesday 26th January

Hello P7,

Well done to Robert and Finlay who were the winners of our Scots language bingo yesterday! It was also fantastic to see some of the wonderful WW2 models you have been making during our meeting on teams.

Please complete the tasks set out on the daily diary which was posted yesterday. You have been given extra time to allow you to produce your best quality work – I can’t wait to see all your fabulous efforts!
In addition, please go to Giglets and complete your assigned task and join me in the ‘Numeracy’ channel at 11.45am to take part in some fastest finger first mental arithmetic.
Have a great day!

P2B – Monday 25th January

Hello Primary 2B! 🙂

It’s a new week! I hope you all got up to some lovely things at the weekend and enjoyed the lovely snow that we got. I took a little trip to Hurlford on Saturday to have a nice walk along the River Irvine and it was beautiful especially, with the gorgeous snow. Though I did nearly slide down a couple of hills but luckily did not have a big disaster like I did last week.

I hope you are all ready for another week of home learning and are working very hard at home. Today we are looking at our new phonemes “ay” (red and green group) and revising “u” (blue group) as well as focusing on making our handwriting as beautiful and neat as possible by taking our time. We are continuing to look at measure, moving on from length to volume and capacity. We are also going to start our new topic today – Toys from the past. There is a grid of activities today that we will have Monday to Wednesday for a few weeks (to give you a chance to complete all tasks), please choose one task to complete each day.

Please click the link below for today’s home learning tasks.
