  1. Hi Mrs Ross

I hope you are well. I just have a wee question – is the fraction work online or do I need to print anything for it?

Sorry. We are having a very late start today as Eoin wasn’t feeling great last night so he slept late today.

We had a VE Day party – Eoin made cakes (he measured all the ingredients himself), we had a picnic outside with music and dancing – so I will send you some photos and a video of that.

    Best regards

    1. You can print off the work or just have the questions on screen and write the answers on paper if that is easier. Hope that helps. Looking forward to seeing the VE Day photos.
      Thanks

  2. Hi Mrs Ross

Eoin and I tried to send you photos and videos on Glow. You should have 2 emails and an entry on Eoin’s log? 🤞🏼It worked ok.

Thank you for the information on fractions today.

For spelling, Eoin put his words in alphabetical order. Oh, my goodness, I think he’s forgotten his alphabet.😱. He was trying to put all the letters of each word into alphabetical order. I told him to put the words in alphabetical order. I hope that was correct.

    Best regards

    1. I got the emails and saw the blog , I have commented on the blogs and loved seeing the birthday and VE day videos, thank you.
You are correct, use the 1st letter (or second if needed) of each word to put the words into an alphabetical list.
Glad I helped you with the fraction question.
Hope you have a lovely day, the sun is shining 🙂

      1. Hi Mrs Ross

Thanks for letting me know you got the photos and videos ok.

Thank goodness I was right about the spelling. Eoin was convinced he had to do it within each word. He said “I wondered why everyone else’s was different than mine.” 🙄.

Today we did some reading and more baking. I saw on the numeracy day suggestions baking was included but Eoin couldn’t wait so we did it today. We doubled our ingredients from last time to make more cupcakes so I got Eoin to calculate what that would be. I’ll send you the videos and photos I took.

I hope you enjoyed the sun today

        Kind regards
        Laura Brown
