P1 Literacy: Foundations of Writing

As part of our writing lesson today, the children were asked to draw a picture to accompany the sentence, ‘I am throwing a ball to my friend.’

We have been focusing on including as much detail as possible in our illustrations, and it was lovely to see the children bringing their pictures to life with beautiful autumnal backgrounds. From the weather and trees to the falling autumn leaves, the attention to detail was fantastic! 

Each week, the children continue to try their very best, all working hard with the excitement and motivation of earning our Star Writer award.
