Taylor and her dad completed the owl nest activity.  It looks fantastic.  I love your Little chicks you have added.  I wonder if any birds will come for a visit?

An additional story from all the ladies today.  I think this perfectly relates to how we are all feeling these days…

•  Eye Spy with my little eye game – Can you find the letters from your name anywhere else? e.g. I spy the letter N
•  Hide and Seek game, to encourage child/children to take turns and use mathematical language in/on/under etc and counting to 5/10/20 and beyond.
• Why not try to bake and create your very own plum pies or other fruit pies if you enjoy home baking.

Activity ideas

Mirror butterfly painting

Draw a butterfly shape, cut around outline, fold in half, paint on one side, print onto other. Look at it’s lovely patterns and colours!

Finger paint a caterpillar/ or use a toilet/kitchen roll holder to print circles for the body using paint.

You could also cut out your caterpillar when it is dry, and cut two finger holes into the middle of it to make a puppet!
