Today’s story is one of Caroline’s favourite. Do you remember we received a letter from the Aliens when we were in the woods?

Here is a game you can play with some one at home. Find an animal, toy or other item in your house, hid it under a cover and use lots of words to tell someone about it and they have to guess what you are hiding. Talk about how it feel and how it looks but REMEMBER don’t tell them what it is! HAVE FUN.

Why not get out in the garden and have a look for some caterpillars, butterflies or any other minibeasts. How many can you find? Do they have legs, wings or feelers? You could draw a picture of your favourite minibeast and send it to us. We would love to see what you have been up to. There is a minibeast checklist attached if you want ideas of what to look for.
HAVE FUN!

Why not try to create some of the images in the story? You could make handprint owl at home or if you are out a walk in this lovely sunshine, why not collect lots of twigs to make your very own owl nest when you get back home? We would love to see your pictures/photo’s
