A beautiful day in Craigengillan!

Primary 6/7 timed it perfectly for our walk along the ‘Private Approach’ in the sunshine to spot wildlife today!Β  We saw the Swans resting in their nest and spotted Deer tracks along the verge.

We popped along the path to the old Curling Rink and even managed a rest there!Β  We are looking forward to finding out some history of the rink before it was regenerated in 2004.

Once we made it all the way to the bridge, we collected sticks to have some fun with a game of ‘Pooh Sticks’.Β  Some of us went for logs but realised that they wouldn’t go far!

On your marks!Β  Get set!Β  Go!

Great anticipation – whose stick will appear first?

Some of us even managed to camouflage ourselves!

Next week, we will head even further into Craigengillan and pop along to Perkelly at the foot of Ness Glen.Β  What will we discover next time?
