P1 Homework

Homework jotters are back in school bags today and are due back to school on Friday.

Here is a copy of what is inside.

We will be recording our song, ‘Jingle Jangle Scarecrow’ for the Virtual Harvest Assembly this Thursday.  At home you could help by practising the words to the song at home.  It can be found on lots of videos on YouTube.

Thank you for your continued support.

P1 Homework

This week’s homework has been stuck into jotters and put into school bags today.  For those without jotters I have put the stapled sheets into school bags – if you need a new jotter please speak to me at the gate or pop a note into bags and I will send a new one home.

Our Literacy focus this week is on auditory memory.  To extend beyond the homework tasks this week pupils could try to remember lists of random objects given by someone at home, such as;

^bag, giraffe, table

^pear, bucket, frog, potato

^pen, jelly, puppy, jar, scissors.

Our numeracy focus on shape will support our Harvest art activity this week; as pupils will use their knowledge of 2D shapes to create a scarecrow.

A fantastic shape/pattern online game from topmarks can be found by following the link below.
