We have some exciting news we would like to share with everyone. Tomorrow Wednesday 27th we have a new addition to our Crosshouse family, we have a little rabbit coming to stay with us. The children have voted for her name and they have came to a decision, she will be called Pompom.

School visit

Some of our Pre-school children had the opportunity to visit the ground of the new school yesterday and ask the construction staff questions.

We were very excited to see how the building is coming long and hear all about how the playground will look 🙂

Feely bag game

Here is a little game you can try at home with your little ones to encourage speech and describing words while taking turns. Give your child time to think and answer.  This game can be made harder if you feel your child needs challenged.

World Book Day

Please remember tomorrow is

World Book Day

To celebrate we are focusing on the importance of bedtime stories! Please come to nursery in your favourite pyjamas and enjoy some lovely stories with the ladies.

Burn’s Day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We had lots of fun celebrating Burn’s Day last week.

Some children dressed in tartan, we explored haggis, neeps & tatties in the tuff tray and porridge oats in the trough. We used cars & paint to create tartan prints.

We danced to Scottish music and listened to Scottish poems and watched the primary schools Burns supper on Teams.

For snack we had haggis, neeps and tatties finished off with some shortbread!
