Applications have re-opened for parents and carers to apply for 3 & 4 year olds 1140 funded provision.

Please apply if:
🔹️ Your child was born between 1st March 2019 – 29th February 2020
🔹️ You wish to change the ECC your child currently attends for August 2022 – June 2023 session

Please see below for a variety of events happening in East Ayrshire to celebrate the Queen’s platinum jubilee.

The children have been busy in the ECC learning about the Queen and why the Platinum Jubilee is a special occasion.

As part of our celebrations, The Central Kitchen have created a special Royal lunch menu that we will be having on Tue 31st May (please see below).

Also we will be having a Royal party on Wednesday 1st June, please come dressed in your Royal attire (if you wish) we look forward to seeing you all in your princess dresses, crowns, fancy clothes, hats, bow ties, cloaks/capes, jewellery etc.

Mellow Monday – comfy clothes

Trainer Tuesday – wear your trainers

Wild hair Wednesday – Come with crazy hair

Thrilling Thursday – wear silly clothes or accessories

Funky Friday – wear cool/bright clothes

Our Central Catering Team have created new menu’s based on feedback from ECC’s across East Ayrshire.

These take into account some of the children’s favourite meals and replace some of the least popular choices.

These still run on a 3 weekly basis – we are starting week 3 next week (week beginning 16th May)

We have created a new page called “Crosshouse PS transitions” and will be posting pictures of staff, videos from key staff members and lots of information to keep you up to date. The page should show up down the right hand side of the blog, however not all devices are the same so this might look different for you. If you are having trouble finding information type “Transition” in the search bar above and all our posts relating to this topic will appear.

We will also be sharing any information posted form other relevant primary schools regarding transitions.

The children have been practicing some nursery rhymes within the ECC. Our nursery rhyme for this week is Humpty Dumpty. Lets help our little ones by practicing at home too.
