Whole School Trip

The whole school will be going to Kelburn Country Park on Wednesday 15th June for their Summer outing. Children can come to school dressed in casual clothes on this day. Children should bring a snack/packed lunch and a drink with them (packed lunches can be ordered through ParentPay).

A contribution of £5 per pupil can now be paid on ParentPay (contribution due by Friday 10th June).  Additional costs including transport will be met by the school.

There are many activities for the children to enjoy at Kelburn including the Secret Garden, garden walks and adventure playground.

Permission forms will be sent out at the beginning of June.

If you wish any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Catrine Community Consultation

We would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to answer the questions in this survey.  We want to find out what local people in the village of Catrine think about their community and how you think it could be improved.

This information will be used to develop a plan to improve the Village and the A M Brown Institute.

This survey is being carried out by Catrine Community Action Plan, which is made up of a combination of local groups, businesses and residents.

Local residents can also complete this form online at https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/CatrineCommunityConsultation/

Report Cards home

Your child will be coming home with their annual report card today and I hope you feel very proud reading about their progress and achievements over the last school session.  Also included is a feedback form. It would be great if you would sit with your child to complete this and return it to school next week.  Along with the report card is the current RSHP curriculum and vocabulary that your child’s class will be covering in Term 4. This information is included to ensure that you are kept informed about future learning objectives.

*Please remember to book an appointment to receive a telephone call from your child’s teacher.

If you wish any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Parents Day/Evening Appointments

On Wednesday 30 March  staff will again be able to phone our parents/carers for a chat, with each slot lasting 10 minutes. Parents/carers should phone the school office on 01290 551436 to ‘book’ their time slot. We will also be asking which phone number you would like your child’s teacher to phone you on to ensure that we get through (please have this available).

Appointments will be available every 10 minutes from 3.30pm to 5.20pm, and then from 6.00pm to 7.50pm. Please ensure that you have your phone switched on, and note that the teacher’s call will display as ‘NO Caller ID’.

Our teachers are looking forward to speaking with you, and updating you about what your child is focusing on in class and how they are progressing with their learning in Term 3.

Thank you
