2 pm Health and Well-being; Talking about our worries

At this time of worry and uncertainty it’s important to take time to talk to our children about how they are feeling and what they are worried about and offer some reassurance.  Remember give plenty of praise when your child talks about their feelings, it encourages them to be more open.

Have fun drawing your own sheet at home, “How do we make a worried face?”

2pm Outdoor Challenge (Chalk)

2pm       Outdoor Challenge Chalk Pictures

As part of our drive to promote and develop our children’s communication skills we have decided to set a few outdoor activities that you and your child can do together.

We hope you have fun with these ideas, spend time together and simply chat. Please be mindful of social distancing and be aware of others around you at this time.

We would love to see or hear how your child got on with the challenge either through discussions whilst attending the ECC or through uploading picture / photos to our email.         alana.speirs@east-ayrshire.gov.uk

Remember if you have older / younger siblings within your family then they can be involved too.

We look forward to seeing all of your pictures J

Draw a picture with some chalk.

This can either be done on the ground or on paper, have fun creating some art work.
