A Rag Bag collection has been organised for Monday 23th May.

Your child will come home with a bag for any old clothes, handbags, belts, ties, & paired shoes you may wish to clear out.

Due to the restriction of space we have, can we ask that if you have a bag you wish to hand in, that you do so ONLY on the morning of Monday 23rd May.

Walk to School Week 16th – 20th May

We hope that you will take part in the Walk to School Week.  If you come to the ECC by car, why not Park & Stride?  Park a street further away and walk to the ECC.

Mixed-up Monday: wear your jumper back to front

Team up Tuesday- walk to school with a friend or family member, & sing a song or recite a nursery rhyme

Wild Wednesday – Wear your hair in a wild or crazy style

Think about it Thursday – can you think of any ways that we can improve our community?

Freestyle Friday – Wear your own clothes to school.

School Streets Reminder

Unfortunately an increase in traffic around school at drop off and pick up times does not follow the School Streets plan.
This is just a reminder for parents and carers, when the restricted times are:
Drop off times – 8.30am till 9.30am. Pick up times 2.30pm till 3.30pm.
Please follow the School Streets plan, to allow for safer roads around our School and ECC.

The children have been exploring a range of animals that can be kept as Pets. The children have an opportunity to meet Rosie the Hamster. The Hamster will be in her cage or exercise ball at all times. Children will be supervised while in the same area as the Hamster at all times. The Hamster’s visit will prompt small group discussion and direct contact will not be encouraged.

BBC Children in Need – 19th November 2021

We have decided this year not to collect for this Charity. If you wish to donate to BBC Children in Need, go to bbc.co.uk/pudsey.

Children have the option of wearing spots if they wish.

Christmas Dinner

Our Christmas Dinner will be served on Friday 10th December.

Below is a copy of the menu that will be served on the day.  We would require numbers for the choices .  Please ask your child what they would like and inform your door person. Thank you

We have updated our Snack Menu, for the week beginning 25th October 21.

Put your Autumn coats and boots on, and go visit the great outdoors, and take part in our Autumn Challenge.

We ask all parents/carers that when dropping off and collecting your child, to please remember to wear a face covering.

October Holiday Week

A reminder that next week, Monday 11th October till Friday 15th October, the ECC will be closed for a holiday.

Please note also on Monday 18th October, is an Inservice Day, and no children should attend this day. Staff will be in the building for training purposes.

Children can come along dressed up for a Spooktacular day.

Please do not send along scary masks and accessories (swords, broomsticks,  etc).

Thank you to everyone that kindly donated on Friday, for the collection towards Red Nose Day and the ECC Snack Fund. We raised a total of £135.74. Half will be sent to Red Nose Day and half to our snack fund.

 Some of the parents joined us for a story to celebrate World Book Day.

Thank  you to all that helped collect the Vouchers from The Scottish Sun. Our box of books arrived this week.

The children will read and explore the books over the next few weeks.
