Great work from the Purple Group

Charlie has showed an interest in mark making.  He is learning to write new words. Look at his good writing.

Poppy has been exploring shapes. She used the magnetic shapes to create her own rocket.

Layla was creating her own story using props and figures. She was putting all the people in the jail.

Clara loves reading books. She was able to tell me what was happening in the story from the pictures.

Wallace has been exploring shapes. He’s perservered and completed this puzzle.

Monday 1st June Health Week – Body parts

Good Morning

Can you name parts of the body? Get some paper or chalk outside and draw around someone in your family, and have fun naming and drawing all the body parts you know.

You could also go on an adventure and collect sticks, leaves, acorns, pine cones etc and be creative and make your own stick family.

Can you send me your pictures to eacarrie.hamilton@glow.sch.uk?

Do you know a song about parts of the body? Can you join in too?

MONDAY 11th MAY – DAILY TASK

Hi Everyone
Can you make your own paper dolls? And take them on an adventure. Here are some simple steps to follow and I hope you like  the ones we made.
  Fold your paper like this

  Draw a person

Carefully cut it out -leaving arms at edge of paper

Decorate them. This is one of our favourite stories. You could give it a read too.
You could try and make different shapes. Enjoy your week 🙂

2PM EXPRESSIVE ARTS

Hi

Since the weather has been lovely. Can you make your own water wall? Collect empty bottles and carefully cut out a section of each. Get an adult to do the cutting. Attach the bottom bottle first and then keep attaching higher up the fence, ensuring each bottle is pouring into the one below.

Have fun on your new water wall!

Here is the one we made.
