Wednesday 13th May

Good morning everyone. I have created a class log-in for Oxford Owls. The username is –  Gargiep3b  and the password is  – bees    You can get lots of free books to read, they have a read aloud button and some of them have activities you can try. You can choose the correct level for you. In the age 6 to 7 section there is a really good book about bugs.
Read this text and draw the picture to go with it, add as many of the details as you can.
Discover quarters in any way you like. You can use playdough, food or your own drawings. The worksheet is just a suggestion.
Make some food for your family. It can be breakfast, a sandwich or a treat. Write instructions for what you did. The template is a guide.

Wednesday 6th May

Good morning everyone, let’s make this Wellbeing Wednesday. Do something that makes you feel good; listen to music, dance around, keep fit, share a book, talk to a friend or make a healthy snack for you and your family. These are only a few suggestions. Have a great day! 😁
Read the story of the Bad Tempered Ladybird and give it a different ending.
Try this online wordsearch with this week’s phoneme. Choose the ea sound in the last column.
Work on your table facts for multiplying and dividing

Tuesday 5th May

Hello everyone,
The forecast looks good for today, so let’s get outside if possible. Some of you asked for science experiments in your learner response. I found this clip, it’s not ideal because it shows you what will happen. If you don’t want to try them yourself, it is still quite satisfying just to watch. Skittles work just as well as M&Ms (I have done the first one before).
Here are some other tasks.
Make an outside picture from anything you find lying around and take a photograph. Here are some ideas.

Monday 4th May

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend in the sunshine. 🌞 There are only 4 days of assignments this week as Friday is a holiday. 😁Some of you have asked for more division practice and lots of you asked for more art and craft type activities so here is the plan for this week.
Here is a chart that may help you to identify those bugs.
Learn the phoneme ea (bread), Draw a bug jar and make a bug hotel. These are the links you need for these activities. I put them together on one document.
Have a great day!

Friday 1st May

Good morning everyone,

Happy first of May! Have a go at drawing or making a bug and post it on your blog for me to see. I am also going to re-assign the learner response that you filled in after week one. I would like to check that you’re getting on ok with the tasks etc.  I hope Aeson doesn’t mind but I will also post a picture of the bug hotel he made with his sister. I was going to make that a task for next week but Aeson beat me to it!  Well done Aeson, maybe it will inspire some others to have a go.
