P3B managed to get more than 400 points last week so are having a class treat at 2:45 on Wednesday afternoon. This time the children want to be able to bring a toy from home. If they do this it has to be with parental permission. It also must be something that is not too big, too noisy or too valuable. The children will have to take responsibility for their own toy. If they don’t want to bring something, I have games in class for them to try.

Homework 20th January 2020
Homework for this week is Bug Club reading online and spelling in jotters. Scottish poems should known by Friday so that finalists can be selected.
Homework 13th January
Homework for Friday will be; spelling, Bug Club reading, numeracy worksheet (subtraction) and learning Street Talk by J.K. Annand.
Street Talk
We are learning the poem Street Talk for the Scottish verse speaking competition. The children have a paper copy but I have attached it just in case.

Happy New Year to everyone. It was lovely to welcome P3 back after a well-earned break. I hope you all had a good time with friends and family.
Homework this week will be our Bug Club books and spelling using the ‘igh’ phoneme. It will also be good if you could practise your subtraction facts within 20.
Our new topic will be looking at Scotland and aspects of Scottish culture and traditions. We will be learning some poems, songs and reading traditional stories. The termly jigsaw will be posted soon.
