We have been getting ready to become coding and programming experts! 💻🐝

The children have been introduced to our Bee-Bots and have been learning that we can use a sequence of instructions, or commands, to tell the Bee-Bot where to go.

To prepare for this, we first designed our own Bee-Bot maps. The children had to think carefully about where they wanted their Bee-Bot to start and where they wanted it to finish.

We practised using important coding language such as forwards, backwards, left and right, thinking carefully about which commands the Bee-Bot would need to follow to reach its destination. 🐝💻
