P4 Class Assembly

The children of P4 are working very hard getting ready for their class assembly and are excited to welcome their guests to come along and watch them perform.  Assembly starts at 9.15am and as children are moving around the school preparing to attend assembly we ask that guests wait patiently outside the school building until the children are ready to welcome you to join them at approximately 9.10/9.15am.

Online Safety

Dear Parent/Carer

IMPORTANT

We have been made aware of an Online Safety Issue. Momo, hosted on various website, created by hackers to gather personal info, has arrived in the UK.  This is a dangerous pop up.  Parents need to be aware of its persuasive dares encouraging children to hurt themselves.  Please be on the lookout for this.  Please see link below for the image to be aware of.

LPS Refurbishment, Open Evening, Monday 25th February

Following on from the recent letter and Frequently Asked Questions document sent home via school bags, parents/carers are invited to an Open Evening in Loanhead Primary School on Monday 25th February at 7.00pm to have the opportunity to meet with senior council officers to cover any specific areas that you may wish further clarity around.

In attendance at the meeting will be:  Linda McAulay-Griffiths, Head of Education, senior school staff and colleagues from Transport, Roads and Crossing, Health and Safety, Building Refurbishment, EAC New Schools Team and Home Line Worker (for any families requiring support during the decant).

School holiday

The school will be closed to pupils from Monday 11th to Friday 15th February.  School will re-open to pupils on Monday 18th at 9.00.

We hope you all have a fabulous week off and look forward to an exciting and busy time on your return.
