Next Event: Christmas Raffle.

Raffle ticket envelopes will be sent home with the children.  The envelope will contain 5 strips of tickets totalling £5.
If you wish to buy, please buy in full strips (£1 each) tear off half and keep, then enclose the money with the other half of the strip.  It’s important that your child’s name and class is written clearly on the back of the strip being returned to the school.   Raffle ticket envelopes will be sent home by 5th December and must be returned back to the school by Wednesday 16th December.    If you have any items you would like to donate towards the raffle, chocolates, new unwanted gifts or toys please drop them into the school office.

At the children’s request, Friday 13th November will be a non uniform day.  Children can choose to either dress up or dress down.  £1 donation to be made and all monies raised will be donated to Children in Need.

We hope you have all enjoyed the school holiday and look forward to welcoming all our pupils back to school at 9am on Tuesday 20th October.

The school will close at 3pm on Friday 9th October and will remain closed to pupils until it reopens at 9am Tuesday 20th October.

The next meeting of the Friends of Loanhead (FOL) will take place on Thursday 1st October, 7.30pm at The Broomhill Hotel.  All welcome to attend.

We are delighted to welcome Sophie Smyth, who represented Scotland at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, to our school.  Ms Smyth will be instructing a Weight Lifting Club for 15 pupils on a Thursday afternoon.  All pupils in P7 & P6 were given the opportunity to put themselves forward for this group and the successful pupils are now enjoying 4 weeks of first class tailored training with Ms Smyth.  This is a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to work with a professional of this calibre and this is something the pupils are sure to enjoy.
