The Maths departments first ‘Maths Week Scotland’ was a great success.

S3 and S1 were involved in Mathematical Relays, with S3 classes combining together – which really added to the competitive edge! S2 completed a Murder Mystery, and we are pleased to report that thanks to the pupils’ great skills with algebra, factors and code breaking the suspect was correctly identified!

S1 and S2 also participated in the ‘Maths Week Scotland’ Ninja Maths Competition on MangaHigh.com. We were really pleased with the number of pupils who participated in this and we managed to score within the top 20 Schools in Scotland. A big congratulations goes to Adam Gatherer (S2) and Stella Hill (S1), who achieved the highest scores in their year groups.
