Auchinleck Academy was represented at the Scottish School Qualifiers for handball, with a team in every age group.
Citadel Leisure Centre played host and with schools present from across Ayrshire competition was fierce!
The S1/2 team looked a class apart and won all of their games only conceding one goal. The S3/4 team finished top of their group after a tough start, pipping Belmont Academy on goal difference. And finally, the S5/6 team finished 2nd to last year’s 3rd best team in Scotland (Belmont Academy)
Therefore all three teams have qualified for the finals at Ravenscraig in Motherwell later in the year – a fantastic achievement
