The National e-Learning Offer (NeLO) complements the delivery of teaching and learning by schools and settings, local authorities and Regional Improvement Collaboratives in Scotland. It is made up of three elements – live, recorded and supported resources.

Check out our NeLO Sway which is updated each week with the latest offers and events, including a timetable of live classes and study support from e-Sgoil.

Live

Live resources include interactive, online classes and study support that can be accessed via e-sgoil. The provision from e-sgoil ranges from Early Years to Senior Phase.

Recorded

Recorded resources are accessed through the West OS tile in Glow.  This growing range of recorded lessons are designed to support learners and practitioners.  The videos can be watched at any time.  All videos are created by educators, for educators and have cleared a rigorous quality assurance process.

Supported

Supported resources include assessments, practical experiments, revision resources and more, and can be accessed from the National e-Learning Offer website.

All resources have been created by educators for educators to support the development of learning opportunities across the curriculum, from the beginning of the Broad General Education through to the Senior Phase. Some course content has also been mapped to BBC and SCHOLAR materials. The range of resources available grows daily.

Visit the National Improvement Hub for more information on the NeLO.
