  • Support the delivery of well planned high quality learning, teaching and assessment to support education recovery 3-18.
  • Ensure a clear focus on the priorities which have the greatest impact on improving learning, raising attainment and narrowing the attainment gaps.
  • Empowering EY leaders to take forward key aspects of improvement in their centres and support staff to take forward identified aspects across the RIC.
  • Build leadership capacity through opportunities for sharing pedagogy and practice.
  • Facilitate effective approaches to parental involvement, engagement and family learning programmes which provide opportunities for parents and carers to build capacity in supporting their children are shared.

Early Learning and Childcare Improvement Programme

Visit the Care Inspectorate Improvement Hub for latest updates on their targeted programme. As well as providing targeted support, the ELC Improvement team offers recorded bite size sessions and a number of universal resources to support the wider ELC sector.  These resources have been designed to allow services to select and view sessions from a menu which can be viewed in their own time.
