SWEIC Outdoor Learning
Following the SWEIC Outdoor Learning CLPL on the 11th of November and building on the feedback received from that session, Early Learning & Childcare, Primary and Secondary practitioners are invited to take part in an Outdoor Learning Blether on the dates outlined below. The SWEIC Outdoor Learning Blethers will take place at Early, First & Second Levels and will provide an opportunity to explore Outdoor Learning resources, activities and good practice. Support will be available from the EAC Learning Outdoors Support Team and Learning through Landscapes. Practitioners from across the SWEIC will also share how they are using Outdoor Learning as a pedagogical tool for curriculum delivery.
An overwhelming theme of the feedback from the November session was practitioner requests for Outdoor Learning activities, ideas and lesson plans. During these blethers examples of good practice will be captured for the SWEIC Outdoor Learning MS Team. Following these blethers there will be the opportunity to join a working party and receive additional hours payments to create, collate and publish Outdoor Learning resources across all curriculum areas that can be made available through the SWEIC Outdoor Learning MS Team.
