QUALITY IMPROVEMENT MANAGER, SOUTH WEST EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT COLLABORATIVE

Expressions of interest by letter and CV are sought for a secondment to the post of Quality Improvement Manager for the South West Educational Improvement Collaborative (SWEIC). The role of the Quality Improvement Manager is to support our regional lead officer to improve educational outcomes in line with local, national and regional priorities across Dumfries and Galloway, South Ayrshire, East Ayrshire and North Ayrshire. The post will cover the 4 local authorities and is envisaged to be up to 23 months.
The Quality Improvement Manager will be responsible for the coordination of the work to deliver on the aims as set out in the South West Educational Improvement Collaborative Plan with a specific focus on inclusion, recovery, leadership and 3-18 through the workstreams of Getting in Right for All Learners, Equity and Equality and Curriculum Innovation, including the line management of officers seconded to the Regional Improvement Collaborative.
The SWEIC is looking to appoint an educational leader with expert knowledge of schools’ performance and self-evaluation frameworks, professional learning and quality improvement within schools and the wider learning community. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence, motivate and facilitate effective collaboration and joint working.
Agreement for the secondment is required from your Line Manager before applying. Part time and/or flexible working will be considered.
