Health and Wellbeing: a thematic review
HM Inspectorate of Education have published a thematic review of Health and Wellbeing this week, examining a range of approaches within nominated local authorities (November & December 2021).
The report considers a number of key challenges for schools and educational settings in relation to support children and young people’s health and wellbeing including:
- Improving mental and emotional wellbeing;
- Addressing the impact of social isolation & resilience;
- Supporting physical wellbeing;
- Minimising the impact of poverty on wellbeing;
- Supporting transitions; and
- Staff wellbeing and professional learning.
