Scottish Foods

Primary 5 – 7 have been learning all about the nutrients we need to be healthy. We have been finding out what influences us to eat certain foods.  We have been exploring and tasting Scottish foods. 

Most children enjoyed tasting porridge, haggis, shortbread and sugar free iron brew.   

UNCRC Rights of the Child –

  • Article 24 – Every child has the right to the best possible health. Governments must work to provide good quality health care, clean water, nutritious food so that children can stay healthy.
  • Article 31 – Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural activities.
