“Together Again” – A Wonderful Start to Our School Year
We kicked off our first School Mass of the year at St. Joseph’s R.C. Primary with a special theme: “Together Again.” It was a joyful moment as we gathered after the summer break, feeling united and ready for the new school year.
Our readers were fantastic. Ry and Rubie delivered the main readings beautifully, while Joanna, Ross, Danielle, Myra, and Gregor led the Bidding Prayers with confidence and grace, reflecting the spirit of gratitude and togetherness.
Father Ben shared a lovely story about the Californian Redwood trees, which, despite their height, have shallow roots that intertwine with others to stand tall and strong. He reminded us that like these trees, we are stronger when we support each other. Each of us is unique and brings special talents to our school, and by embracing our differences, we grow stronger as a community.
The pupils’ behaviour throughout the Mass was exemplary – we couldn’t be more proud! Even our new Primary 1 students were attentive and respectful, a testament to the positive and nurturing environment we strive to create here at St. Joseph’s. It was truly heart-warming to see everyone, from our newest members to our oldest, standing together in unity.
As we look forward to the year ahead, let us remember Father’s message and the lesson of the Redwood trees. Let us continue to support and encourage each other, to celebrate our unique talents, and to stand strong together. Here’s to another year of growth, friendship, and learning at St. Joseph’s R.C. Primary – our wonderful school, standing tall and united!
Here’s to a fantastic year ahead! 🌳✨
