Here are some of the stuff the elf has been up to this week!

We had some Christmas maths to do. We had to find out who the next reindeer was going to be for Santa. There were sums on the sheet to find out who it was.

We made catapults using a paper spoon, 9 lolly sticks and 5 rubber bands. First we got 7 lolly pop sticks and 2 rubber bands and tied them together. Then we got the plastic spoon and tied another lolly stick to it. When it was built we seen what went furthest out of a marshmallow and a cotton wool ball. The marshmallow went the furthest!

We made some Christmas cards for family and friends and we used stencils to draw around and put glitter on.

We had a Christmas celebration night that we first set up. We sang loads of songs on the stage and then we sold our things we have made at school and then they played the games. From the hampers we made £325 for the school. From the crafts and games we made £264 for the children’s ward at the hospital.

The dance club got their certificates for best overall performance!

We were playing a game called ‘roll a reindeer.’ We had a dice, a whiteboard and a sheet. Whatever you rolled you drew that part of the reindeer. Whoever drew it first won and shouted ‘reindeer’.
