Information you need to share with DGC

Each year, Parent Councils are required to provide information and documentation to Dumfries and Galloway Council.

Annual submission

This should include details of Office Bearers – Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary, as well as a copy of your AGM minutes. For Officer Bearer updates please use the following link: Parent Council Data Check.

End of Year Financial Statement

Parent Councils should submit an End of Year Financial Statement Appendix A in relation to Dumfries and Galloway Council (DGC) funds only.

Parent Council can submit a proposal form for up to £300 per academic year – Appendix B if funds are needed for operational and/or promotional activities for the Parent Council.

Constitution

A copy of your Parent Council Constitution, signed by the Chair and dated, should be submitted if you have updated your Constitution from the last time you shared with DGC.
