Both Primary 4 classes have been working very hard and enjoying learning the songs and poems for their upcoming Christmas performance at Heathhall Community Centre!
Watch this space for some photos of the event.
During our learning about the local community, P4 have been exploring the differences between rural and urban communities. They worked in teams to create these environments…look at the results!

Primary 4 have been developing their problem solving skills and resilience through Coding. We had lots of fun and hit a few challenges as we worked our way through ‘RodoCodo’.

On Wednesday 28th May, we visited Drumlanrig Castle. We had a guided tour around many rooms of the castle. It was beautiful!
We then had an early picnic lunch and spent the afternoon in the adventure playground and rolling down the hills in the gardens – this was definitely a highlight!!
Thank you to the staff at Drumlanrig Castle and our parent helpers for coming along. We all had a great day out.

This week we started digging up our garden plot and clearing away all the weeds and litter. It was hard work! But a lovely, productive afternoon spent in the sunshine.
Have a look at some of the weeds we pulled up!

P4D have been busy planning their garden! Each class has been given responsibility of a garden plot that they will plan, plant, grow and look after. We have lots of ideas in the class and have been making plans in pairs. We can wait to get started…there is a lot of work to do!

This is our garden space…

We will keep you updated with our progress!
