Today we were lucky enough to have the Bike Cinema at Heathhall Primary. We had created short films using MovieMaker which we were then able to view on the large screen.
We had to keep pedalling to make sure the screen stayed on.

Primary 7 have spent time planting lots of different plants. We are using our new grow box to experiment with different growing conditions.
We look forward to see all the different plants which will grow successfully!
All classes from P5- P7 had a visit from the NHS today. They were trained in how to administer CPR. This is an invaluable skill which could be needed one day.
Primary 7 had a visit from a Fire Safety Officer.
We discussed hazards in the home and how to remain safe.
We also discussed how to remain safe in the community and the importance of staying away from derelict buildings.
The Young Digital Leaders ran an exciting after school Coding Club for Primary 4 children.
Each week the Digital Leaders led different activities for the Primary 4 children to investigate.
They worked with Micro;bits, Mice, Botleys, Make Code and Lego Spike.
All of the children had fun and developed their Coding Skills.
P7 had great fun outside on the scooters!
Heathhall Primary School celebrated World Bok Day.
Primary 7 participated in a variety of fun activities throughout the day.
We worked alongside Primary 1 to make bookmarks and then all took part in a reading book quiz.
We then created our own character for a small book story which we wrote. we used the iPads to animate our character,
Primary 7 have been learning about The Scottish Wars of Independence. We have been learning about key events in the timeline and investigating the differences between the Scottish and English armies.
As part of this work we created life-size Scottish and English soldiers.
We went outside to work on our reading activities.
We designed a new book cover for our books and created our own blurb. we then shared a summary and predicted what we thought would happen next. We used descriptive vocabulary to sum up our thoughts on the books so far.
