Did you know the Ukulele originated in Hawaii? That’s just one thing P5/6/7 pupils have been learning each Friday morning, during their music sessions with Feis Rois!

Although we have only had two sessions, so far, everyone has made an excellent start at learning to play this stringed instrument; finding cords and perfecting strumming too. The sessions have also included learning and singing songs in Gaelic.

Our weekly sessions will continue, throughout the term. By the end we hope to be able to play a few tunes and hopefully perform these to friends and family at school events.
