Wing Commander Mike Duguid (Retired)

Friend of Kells, Mike Duguid, visited P5/6/7 recently to speak to the pupils about the RAF’s involvement in World War 2 as part of their current topic. The children were especially keen to find out about the Dambusters.  Mike spoke to the class, answered their questions as well as demonstrating the science behind the bouncing bomb and why these missions were important to the war effort. Mike also arrived in his old RAF uniform. Here are some photographs –
