I hope you all had a super Easter Holiday and made the most of the reasonably good weather we had. As you will see below in ‘Dates for Diary’ this is a very busy term with lots of events and experiences planned for the children. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me if you require further information on any of the newsletter items.

Angus Leigh will be in school to take class photographs on Friday 27^th April.

School Uniform

If you wish to order any items of school uniform, please complete the attached form and return it to the school office by Friday, 4^th May.

 Walk to School Week 21^st – 25^th May

Kells Primary will once again be participating in this initiative. When possible, could you please encourage your child to walk to school on this week. We appreciate that a number of our pupils live outwith New Galloway, but even walking part of the way to school still counts towards the school’s statistics. Thanks.

Dinner Money

It would be very helpful if all dinner money could be paid on a Monday morning, please.

Milk Money

Milk Money for this term is £8.16.  Please pay to the school office as soon as possible.

Rag Bag Collection

Please remember the Rag Bag Bin is available at all times for any unwanted textiles.  Our next collection will be on 4^th June.  This is an easy way for us to raise money. Last term the school received a cheque for £133.  Thank you.

Marie Curie Mini Pots of Care

Many thanks to those families who supported our daffodil mini pots of care appeal.  We have donated £116.00 to Marie Curie to help those living with cancer. Well done to the pupils in P1-3!

Eco Group

The Eco Group are still collecting plastic bottle tops so that they can create a mosaic in the playground where the old greenhouse used to stand. There are collection bins in the school for the bottle tops. Please help us if you can.
