P2 enjoyed an excellent visit to Georgetown Library last week on ‘World Read Aloud Day’. The children have been reading aloud to the Everywhere Bear, so they decided to bring him along too for a wee treat!
Eileen gave the children a tour of the Non – Fiction, and Fiction areas of the library, and she was most impressed when Calvin told her the difference between the two types of book. Bella was challenged with finding a novel in the Fiction part of the library, and she found out the the books are filed alphabetically by the author’s surname.
The children also met the resident dragon and they wondered if he was related to the dragon that visited our classroom? 🐉
