At long last, excitement was in the air in P3/4/5 today as the much awaited panda prizes arrived from the Glow Team. Back in December the pupils entered a competition to design a leaflet for Edinburgh Zoo to promote the arrival of Scotland’s two giant pandas, Tian Tian and Yang Guan. The school heard the fantastic news in January that several pupils had been successful and had come runners up in the competition and that one of our pupils had also won First Prize! Such a big achievement to have so many winners from a small school in a national competition!
Below is a photograph of the overall winner with her cuddly panda and runners up with their T-shirts, along with their leaflet designs.
