Children in the Sunshine Room have been getting to know Mrs. Caroline Bell who is on placement with us as a teaching student from University of West of Scotland. Mrs. Bell will be based in the Sunshine Room for the next few weeks, although she has also enjoyed meeting the Rainbow children outdoors, and is looking forward to working with everyone. We hope that she has a happy time at Hecklegirth Nursery.

The Nursery Team
It won’t be long now until the start of an exciting new year in Hecklegirth Nursery. As in recent years, we will continue to run two Nursery classes and, to help prepare your child for the start of the new term, we thought that it may be useful to know which members of staff will be in each room.
This year Mrs. Kirkpatrick, Mrs. Gray (a.m.) and Ms. Paterson (p.m.) will be based in the Rainbow Room while Miss Kerr, Miss Hamer and Miss McVicar will work in the Sunshine Room. Mrs. Carruthers and Miss Awde will alternate between rooms on a weekly basis and Mrs. Stott will spend time in both rooms. Photographs of most of our team can be seen if you click on the “Our Staff” link on the right. We hope that this is helpful and look forward to seeing everyone soon.
Welcome

“Thank you all, children and staff for a magical 3/4 of a year !! Joe is missing you all very much especially playing out side too , hope to keep in touch take care Joe and his family x”
We would love it if you kept in touch Joe and hope that you have great fun at your new school.
Thank You Joe
We would like to thank Joe and his family for their very kind gifts as he said his good-byes at the end of term. The children in the Rainbow Room were so excited to open the parcels that Joe brought and everyone is looking forward to playing with his super gifts. The garden set was immediately put into action in our flower shop and seemed to be a great success. Mrs. Alexander and all the Nursery staff would like to say a huge thank you to Joe and his family for their kind generosity. We will miss you Joe but are sure that you will have a super time at your new school.
