The children are doing very well learning the rules and they are starting to understand about tidying up after they have played with something. We hope that they are doing it at home too.
The children have been talking about rules in Nursery and why we need rules. You could ask them at home if they can remember what we agreed on. Here are some of the children showing us the rules to help everyone remember them.

Mrs. Alexander and Mr. Palmer got a big surprise when some of the children visited them last week to say thank you for all their help in Nursery and for making graduation a special occasion. Well done boys and girls for a lovely thank you – you made Mrs. Alexander and Mr. Palmer very proud of you.
Mrs. Alexander and Mr. Palmer were both delighted to receive graduation invitations recently from Nursery children. Lots of them had made a contribution to the cards, either through drawings or writing and they looked super. We look forward to seeing everyone at graduation on Tuesday. Please remember to return your slip indicating how many seats you would like to ensure that the hall is set up for everyone.
Mrs. Alexander enjoyed our post on the daily kilometre that Nursery children and their buddies have been doing:
“Thank you buddies for helping Nursery pupils be more active in school. It really is making a difference and showing our youngest pupils the importance of keeping fit.”
Everyone seems to be improving their fitness with this activity. Well done to Primary 6 and Nursery pupils.

Thank you for leaving us a comment Courtney. You are doing a great job of looking after Summer and I know that you will be a super help to her when she moves to Primary 1.
As well as planting sunflowers to take home, we have been planting in the Nursery garden to brighten it up. Mrs. Alexander kindly gave us four flower pots which inspired us to add to the display in our raised bed. The afternoon children were enthusiastic to join in and help and, as you can see, they made a good job of preparing the soil then choosing which plants they wanted where. Have a look in the garden to see what you think of their hard work.
