Thank You

Thom’s Mum has left us a lovely comment about our Fun Activity Day:

“It was a great morning, so proud of all the children…I certainly would find it difficult to do all of the activities they did in front of such a big audience. Its a great way to develop their confidence. The medals were a great idea too. Thanks to all the staff, it must take a lot of organisation and chatting to other parents, everyone seems very impressed and it went well beyond expectations. Thank you.”

Thank you so much for your kind comments. You are right, the children did show great confidence to perform in front of a large audience – they were little stars. Thanks also must go to all the family and friends who encouraged the children so much.

Well Done

Two people have left comments on our Fun Activity Day photos. Mrs. Gray said,

“Well done to all the boys and girls on great teamwork at Sports Day. I am proud of you all.”

Dylan’s family also enjoyed the day:

“We thoroughly enjoyed coming to watch Dylan and all his friends at their fun activity day yesterday, they all done extremely well and looked lyk they all enjoyed themselves,.we are so proud of Dylan and was good to see how confident he was. Thankyou for a lovely enjoyable morning, all the kids and staff done well “

It was lovely to see the children so happy and confident.

Great Teamwork

Thank you to everyone who braved the distinctly chilly weather to cheer on the children in their Fun Activity event today. We are sure that, like us, you felt very proud of them all as they confidently showed off their skills and great teamwork. We managed to capture photos of some of the groups with those well deserved medals, presented by Mrs. Alexander, and an ice lolly finished off our day nicely. We hope that you enjoyed the day as much as we did. Well done boys and girls – you really showed yourselves to be ‘confident individuals’.

Lots of Fun

Olivia’s Mummy has been looking at our photos of the children practising for today’s Fun Activity Day:

“I have loved hearing about your fun activity day from Olivia and she has been practising with her daddy!! It sounds lots of fun! Unfortunately I am working tomorrow but looking forward to seeing all the photographs. I am sure all the boys and girls will have a fab day and I will cross my fingers for some sunshine! :)”

Let’s hope the rain stays away all day so that we can enjoy all our activities.

Fun Activity Day

The children have been practising their running and jumping skills to prepare for our Fun Activity Day tomorrow (Wednesday). They have grown in confidence, shown good teamwork and had great fun. We are looking forward to lots of families and friends cheering the children on as they show you what they can do. We hope to bring the children on to the field around 9.30 and 2.00 when they will start moving round their activities in groups. Fingers crossed that the sun decides to shine tomorrow.

Family Fun

Kacey’s Mum’s been enjoying having a look at our photos.

“Kacey loves the family learning activities (so do I) our cress is still alive and growing on our window . Sadly the pumpkin seed isn’t so well as she was a bit over enthusiastic in watering it, we will buy some more and try again!”

“Well done everyone on the family fun day everyone did great despite the weather being cold and windy, I think the only people that noticed was all the adults that came to watch.”

We did wonder how the pumpkin seeds would do – that’s a shame if it’s not survived. I wonder how other people are getting on with their seeds?

Well Done

Emma’s Mum left us a comment about our Fun Activity Day:

“Emma had a great time and enjoyed all the practicing on the run up to the sports. Was very proud of her medal too. Well done to everyone who organised and helped the kids.”

It was lovely to see the children all working so well together and to have so many adults cheering them on. Thanks to everyone for joining in despite chilly weather.

Great Teamwork

Like the morning children, the afternoon children participated in our Fun Activity Day with great enthusiasm. They worked well in their teams and displayed good skills and motivation to do their best. Thank you again to everyone who came along to cheer the children on – we all appreciate your support.

Medals and Ice Lollies

We would like to thank everyone who came to cheer the children on their Fun Activity Day despite chilly weather. We are sure that, like us, you felt very proud of them all as they confidently showed off their skills and great teamwork. Those medals and ice lollies were certainly well deserved and we hope that you enjoyed the day as much as we did. Well done boys and girls – you really were ‘confident individuals’. Thank you also to the ‘responsible citizens’ of Primary 6 and 7/6 who were super helpers on the day. Here are some photos from the morning event. The afternoon photos will be posted soon.

Fun Activity Day

The children have been practising their running and jumping skills to prepare for our Fun Activity Day tomorrow (Thursday). They have shown good teamwork and had great fun although at times, as you can see from the photos, we have had to have our coats on due to chilly weather. We are looking forward to lots of families cheering everyone on as they show you what they can do – we hope to bring the children on to the field around 9.30 and 1.30. Fingers crossed for sunshine tomorrow.
