Happy Families

Several families have kindly left comments on our photos. Summer’s Granny has been looking at the lovely photo of Summer with her recent certificate:

“We are very proud of Summer.”

How lovely Summer to make your family so proud. We are proud of your achievements too.

Ava and Neve’s Mums have been looking at the photos of the Family Learning make and take activities:

“Ava and mummy had great fun at the make and take. Ava especially liked making the chocolate sparklers.”

So that’s what the chocolate fingers were for Ava. Maybe you could make some chocolate sparklers at home?

“me and Neve had a great time making these lanterns Neve puts it on every night.”

The lanterns did look good. I’m sure your home looks cosy with your lovely new lamp Neve.

Make and Take

Lots of children and their families tried out our Family Learning ‘Make and Take’ on Tuesday. Scissors, glue, Autumn leaves and chocolate fingers were on the tables when I popped in and it looked there was lots of super concentration going on as the children created their little Autumn lamps. Thank you so much to Eileen, our Family Learning Co-ordinator, for organising this lovely activity. We hope that those attending Friday’s sessions have good fun too.

Hallowe’en Outfits

Several families have been enjoying looking at the photos from Hallowe’en.

“Isaac had a lot of fun dressing up on Monday, he’s looking forward to doing it again for the disco on Thursday.”

“Joshua (H) looks so happy here with the other children dressed up. Brilliant costumes everyone 👍😊 “

“Callum was very excited to be going into nursery dressed up. He had lots of fun with his friends. We have had a good look at the photos and all the children’s costumes are excellent. We thought Harper looked fantastic🤗 “

It was lovely to see so many of the children excited to be dressed up. They really looked the part. Well done everyone! We will look forward to seeing some of you dressed up at the disco tomorrow.

Outdoor Food

Patrick’s family has been looking at the photos of him making bread to cook on the fire. He enjoyed tasting the marshmallows too.

“Clever boy Patrick 👍.  What a fab time you’re having Patrick! ☺”

“Patrick said the marshmallows were delicious😋😋”

Everyone seemed to enjoy the bread that Patrick helped to make and the marshmallows were certainly very popular.

Singing at Home

Two more of our families have commented on the children’s singing:

“It was lovely to watch the kids sing yesterday. Bethany sings these songs every day.”

“Gutted that I wasn’t able to make it this time, however Olivia has been singing her songs non stop at home and teaching the songs and actions to her little sister!! She told me the singing‘went good’ at nursery! 🙂”

It’s lovely to hear that the children have been singing their songs at home. It sounds like Olivia’s little sister will be a star by the time she comes to Nursery herself with Olivia teaching her lots of songs.

Autumn Performance

Isaac’s family has left a lovely comment about the children’s performance of their Autumn songs:

“Was lovely to hear all the boys and girls singing today. Isaac had been practising lots at home so was really looking forward to it. Well done everyone!”

Well done Isaac for practising at home. It’s good to hear that you have enjoyed learning these songs.

Thank You

per2Thank you to all the family and friends who were able to watch the children’s performance today of the Autumn songs that they have been learning. We really appreciate your support in providing a wonderful audience for the children and we hope that you enjoyed their performance as much as they seemed to.
One of our aims is to develop ‘confident individuals’ and many of our children showed themselves to be exactly that in performing in front of a large audience. Well done boys and girls! We think that your families were as proud of you as we were.
