Confident Performance

As promised, here are some photos of the afternoon children just before their Christmas celebration. Just like the morning children, they showed confidence in their performance and sang beautifully for their families. Well done to everyone and thank you so much to all those who provided a wonderful audience for the children.

Christmas Celebration

We hope that, like us, you were very proud of all the children as they behaved and sang so beautifully in front of a big audience at our Christmas celebration today. Huge thanks go to Rev. Pickles and Mr. Palmer for joining us and to the many family members who helped to make this a special occasion for the children. Here are a few photos of the morning children as they prepared for their performance. We will post photos of the afternoon children soon.

Singing Practice

Joshua H’s Mum has been looking at the photos of the children practising their Christmas songs:

“Aw Joshua looks stunned like he’s been caught off guard. Was the flash on the camera? Lol”

No doubt Joshua was concentrating on the actions as well as the singing. We hope that everyone enjoyed the children singing today.

Christmas Celebration

We hope that you are all looking forward to our Christmas celebration tomorrow, Tuesday 13th December. Morning parents can join us at 11.20 and afternoon parents at 2.20. The Nursery door will be opened for entry through the usual entrance and parents/carers can park in the John Bell car park.
We are keeping our Christmas celebration informal to encourage the children to enjoy a relaxed and happy performance of the songs they have been learning. Rev. Pickles has kindly agreed to join us and we are delighted that many of our families have indicated that they would like to be part of our celebration. As you can see, the children have been practising to make sure that you enjoy their songs. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Super Shoppers

Some photos from a while back of a group of children on a shopping expedition show them off to the town to buy brushes and varnish to prepare the tree trunk seating in the garden. As you can see, they showed independence skills as they found what they needed in the shop and paid for them. Thank you for being so helpful boys and girls – you were super shoppers.

Delicious Vegetables

Two of our families are pleased to see the photos of the children trying different vegetables in the snack area.

“Good girl Chloe. Mummy and daddy are really pleased you like lots of different vegetables. These look delicious.”

“Nice to see Owen trying red pepper. He loves breadsticks!”

The snack area is always popular and it is encouraging when we see the children happy to try different types of foods.

Happy Friends

Bethany and Quinn’s families have been looking at the photos of Hallowe’en.

“Bethany loves dressing up and looks happy with the other kids. She loves coming to nursery”

“Too cute! The 3 amigos. We are so proud of the friendships Quinn is forming at nursery. Xx”

It is lovely to see the children growing in confidence and developing friendships.

Hallowe’en Outfits

Several families have been enjoying looking at the photos from Hallowe’en.

“Isaac had a lot of fun dressing up on Monday, he’s looking forward to doing it again for the disco on Thursday.”

“Joshua (H) looks so happy here with the other children dressed up. Brilliant costumes everyone 👍😊 “

“Callum was very excited to be going into nursery dressed up. He had lots of fun with his friends. We have had a good look at the photos and all the children’s costumes are excellent. We thought Harper looked fantastic🤗 “

It was lovely to see so many of the children excited to be dressed up. They really looked the part. Well done everyone! We will look forward to seeing some of you dressed up at the disco tomorrow.

Witches, Skeletons, the Mad Hatter and a Troll

Witches, skeletons, even the Mad Hatter and a troll arrived in Nursery on Monday for Hallowe’en. There were so many different outfits to be amazed by that the list is too long to make. Thank you to all those who helped their children play the part for Hallowe’en – here are photos we managed to capture of some of those super outfits.
