The Giant Pancake
Olivia’s family enjoyed the photos of the children on their recent visit to Tesco:
“Fab pictures! Olivia really enjoyed her visit to Tesco especially getting the giant pancake for snack and putting items through the chekout! She told us the baker had been making pancakes for 29 years! đ”
The baker certainly had been making pancakes for a long time but I’m not sure it was quite that long. It’s good to hear that you enjoyed your visit Olivia and you are right, those pancakes were delicious.
Fancy Costumes
Callum’s family enjoyed the photos of the children dressed up for World Book Day:
“Callum absolutely loved coming to Nursey dressed up. He couldn’t wait. So nice to see all the children in their fancy costumes. Good photo of Callum and his friend.”
The children did look amazing. It’s lovely when so many children take part and they all enjoyed discussing the different outfits.
Happy Children
Several families have left comments about our visit to the library and dressing up on World Book Day. Olivia’s Mum liked the photo of Olivia and a friend looking at a super pop-up book brought in from home:
“This looks like a wonderful book! Both girls look very intrigued by it! We have heard lots of positive things about the visit to the library! đ”
Tom’s family also liked the photos of the children in their different outfits:
“Tom loves coming to nursery to see his friends. He couldnât wait to show them his Batman costume!”

Harvey Loves Stories

Clever Girl
Georgia’s family was impressed with her making toast on the fire last week, leaving a post saying “Clever girl”. The children have certainly learned quickly what to do when we have a fire and always behave very safely and sensibly when we make one. The toast tastes delicious too.
Great Fun

Super Concentration

You are right. Joshua does look as if he is concentrating well. You can’t beat making your own snack outdoors – I’ve not seen the children so enthusiastic about toast for a while.
