Photo Comments

Iona, one of our older pupils in school, left a “Well Done” comment for one of our recent award winners. It’s great to know that some of our school pupils are taking an interest in the Nursery blog so thank you Iona for taking the time to leave a comment.

Bethany’s Mum also enjoyed the photos from our Children In Need Day”:

“What a great photo of Joshua and Bethany together. Everyone looked great x”

They do look happy together. It was lovely to see the children in all their different outfits that day and, as you can see below, we raised a great total.

Well Done Enid

Enid’s family left us a comment to say that she is delighted with her recent certificate:

“Enid was thrilled to receive a certificate, she has been working very hard at learning her letters & sounds, her hard work has paid off.”

Well done Enid! Super learning! Your family must be very proud of you.

Exploring In Mud

Brooke’s family has been looking at the photos of the children’s ‘sticky mud game’:

“Brooke loves exploring in mud and getting messy so I can imagine how much fun this would of been for her, looks like a great game they have all created together. Well done everyone.”

It was a super game which kept them engaged for such a long time. Great teamwork!

Happy Families

Two of our families have left lovely comments about the children’s performance today. Jasmin’s family said,
“They were all fantastic, well done!”

Brooke’s family enjoyed the performance too:
“Thank you very much for inviting us to watch the children sing, was lovely to come and listen to and watch Brooke do what she loves the best and sing her wee heart and perform. All the children done really well today, they were so confident in standing up in front of a big crowd to sing.”

Thank you for leaving such kind comments. We really appreciate it. We will shortly post a couple of photos of the children ready to perform.

Family Comments

After our apologies below about the problem with comments on our blog, here is a taster of some of the comments that our families have left recently.

Patrick’s family liked the photos of the children enjoying the lollies round the fire.
“What an exciting day. Camp fire and rocket ice lollies!! Patrick said that was a tasty rocket! 😊 “

Joshua’s Mum was pleased to read the children’s ideas about friendship: “It’s lovely to see all the children’s replys, Joshua’s especially 😄” and commented on our campfire and lolly day: “Joshua said he had  fun that day 😊 “

Enid’s family was pleased with her artwork: “Lovely colourful picture by Enid, her knowledge of shapes has really improved lately.”

Bethany’s family liked the photos of the children on Maths Week: “Bethany was so excited to bring her game in and play for maths week”

Leah’s family left a comment on a painting photo: “Leah just loves painting at Nursery .”

Thank you so much for leaving comments and apologies for the delay in posting them. It’s great to know that you are enjoying this taster of life in Nursery.

Apologies

Only today we discovered that several parents have left comments on our blog recently but that we have not been able to see them. We can only apologise for what must have seemed like a lack of response from us but we were totally unaware that these comments had been left as they were not appearing in the usual manner.
After a few phone calls we seem to have resolved this issue and will now catch up with your comments. We hope that lots more of you will post your views from now on.
Thank you particularly to Freddie’s Mum because without her help we could have gone a long time unaware that this was happening. She left a comment saying that “Freddie was delighted with this certificate” and also “brilliant effort from everyone in Hecklegirth Primary and Nursery. Lovely pic of the children in their purple x” (referring to our recent fundraising day). Thank you for taking the time to leave comments and apologies for the delay in publishing them.

Buddy Time

Noah’s family likes the photo of him playing on the school field with his buddy:

“What a lovely photo! Noah loves spending time with his buddy!”

The children are getting to know their buddies well now and it’s lovely to see the relationships blossom as the children grow in confidence in the wider school environment.
