Happy Photos

Owen’s family has been looking at our recent photos. They liked seeing him relaxing on the dentist’s chair on our Toothtastic Tuesday:

“Owen really enjoyed this, looks very chilled 🤓👍🏼💤😷”

The photo of Owen joining in with the other children on the stage was another favourite:

“Owen said this was “really nice and really good”. Such a performer!!”

We are glad that you are enjoying our photos. Hopefully everyone is getting a regular insight into what happens in Nursery.

Song and Dance

Give the children a stage and they are keen to perform, be it singing or dancing. Here are a few snapshots of them in action earlier in the term as they produced their own song and dance routines, showing themselves to be the confident individuals we are trying to help them develop into. I wonder if any of these children will be performers when they are older?

Lucky Red Envelopes

As part of our learning about Chinese New Year, some children chose to make special red ‘lai see’ envelopes which Chinese children receive at this time of year with a gift of money inside. It was tricky to work out how to make the envelopes stick together but the children showed good perseverance with this little problem and enjoyed decorating their envelopes. Hopefully the chocolate coins that were put inside made their way home.

Holiday

We would like to remind everyone that there will be no Nursery for the children on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of next week due to a mid-term holiday and two training days for staff. We hope that you all enjoy a few days off and look forward to seeing you on Thursday 16th February.
