When we arrived back in Nursery on Monday our super new climbing frame had been constructed and secured in the ground but the children had to resist temptation for one more day to ensure that everything was complete. This was no easy task for some because that climbing frame just looked so inviting.
However the grand opening arrived today with a huge cheer and rush of excitement as the children explored our fantastic new outdoor resource and, as you can see, it was very popular.
We would like to say huge thanks to Davie Bell and Liam Mitchell who worked so hard to install the climbing frame – we really appreciate all your help.
Massive thanks also go to the ‘Hecklegirth Fundraisers’ group who gave us a very large donation towards the purchase of this wonderful resource. We appreciate all the effort and organisation that goes in to the fundraising events that make this kind of donation possible and are very grateful for your support. We hope that Nursery families continue to support the ‘Hecklegirth Fundraisers’ events, such as the upcoming barbecue, as they do such good work for the school and Nursery community.
All we need to do now is sit back and enjoy the joyful little faces having fun. One little voice was heard saying today, “This is the best climbing frame I’ve ever been on in my whole life” so we think it’s passed the test.
