Sporting Superstars

Yesterday for Fit Thursday, P7 took part in a variety of sports to develop a range of skills.  Sports we participated in: Gaelic Football, Botcha, Walk a Mile, Table Tennis, SFA Football,  Hockey then Dancing.

P7 pupils demonstrated transferable skills valued by employers such as effective communication, observation, leadership and teamwork.  They work co-operatively with each other providing support and encouragement in team games.

Entrepreneurs of the Future

As part of our Enterprise Education, P7 are working collaboratively to decide what they should make and sell at our School Summer Fare to be held on Saturday 3rd June 10:30-12:00.

P7 pupils generated lots of great ideas and as a class decided that we are going to decorate little trinket boxes to sell.  P7 will be given the chance to buy the trinket box they decorate, the remaining boxes will be available for other classes/families to buy.

In numeracy this term, we are learning about Financial Education, Budgets, Profit and Loss and Debit and Credit Cards.  Pupils will consider the cost of materials and decide on a “fair price” to sell the trinket boxes.

We hope you can pop along to our Summer Fayre to support our school’s fundraising efforts 🙂 Thank you.
