It’s amazing how time flies……I wish we could all ride on it’s wings. P4 has been swiinging back and forth and comparing fashion, entertainment, cars and games from the 1960’s to what we have today. Through research we have discovered a lot of things. We have also been gathering evidence to back it up. It’s been hard work but even more fun. We now know that ‘Twiggy’ was a fashion icon in the sixties. We also know that ‘The Flinstones cartoon’ is still quite popular today even though it came out in the 60’s. Great stuff!!!! Next we will be discussing racism and how it changed dramatically throughout the sixties which involved the passage of bills into laws especially because of protests by anti-racist groups such as the Freedom Riders.
