Well done to everyone for all their efforts for the Christmas concert. You all sang very well. Thank you also for the bright costumes you wore for your performance.
“Grandma” from our story has been our main focus over the past few weeks. We have done a wonderful piece of functional writing about making Grandma a cup of tea! We also investigated lots of adjectives to describe Grandma and have used these to lable our large picture of Grandma in our classroom.
“George” promised his parents that he would never go into the medicine cabinet so we discussed the dangers of a medicine cabinet and designed posters showing the dangers.
We have also had a visit from some little minibeasts as an introduction to our new topic next term, this beign Minibeasts!

Happy new year, everyone! I am so excited that we are now in 2012. I wonder what amazing things lie in store for us all this year.
