As we get into the middle of November we start seeing signs that Christmas is on it’s may. The nights and mornings are darker. The days are colder and shorter, and the class Christmas concert songs are given out for you all to learn!
For this Christmas concert, our class are teaming up with P2 and P2/3 to do our songs from the 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s. We have to learn the words to 4 songs. The songs are Caledonia, I Wish it Could Be Christmas Everyday!, Grandma Got Run Over by A Reindeer and Do They Know Its Christmas Time?! (All the words will be issued as homework)
It is really important that everyone learns their words so that the classes sound really impressive singing as an infant Choir for the concert.
Our topic this term about “Georges Marvellous Medicine” is going well. So far we have designed what we think Grandma looks like and have used all sorts of interesting adjectives to describe her. We have investigated volume of bottles in maths and have written some really disgusting potions in language! Ask us for a run down on the story so far!
Looking forward to Christmas boys and girls?
I hope Santa will be very good to you all.
Mrs MvDonald
